Peripheral Arterial Disease

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is a circulatory condition in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the limbs, most commonly affecting the legs. This decreased circulation can cause symptoms such as leg pain when walking, numbness, or slow-healing wounds. At Arizona Heart & Vascular Clinic, we believe that understanding PAD is essential to maintaining overall vascular health. The condition is often a sign of widespread atherosclerosis, meaning plaque buildup may also affect arteries supplying the heart and brain, increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Through our patient education and diagnostic programs, we aim to raise awareness about early detection and effective treatment options for PAD. Our team provides information on lifestyle changes, exercise therapy, and advanced medical treatments that can help improve blood flow and relieve symptoms. At Arizona Heart & Vascular Clinic, our goal is to help patients take proactive steps toward preventing complications, improving mobility, and enhancing their quality of life.
