Heart Valve Disease

Heart Valve Disease occurs when one or more of the heart’s valves do not function properly, disrupting normal blood flow through the heart. This can happen when valves become narrowed (stenosis), leaky (regurgitation), or fail to close completely, forcing the heart to work harder to circulate blood. At Arizona Heart & Vascular Clinic, we recognize the importance of early detection and management of valve disorders to prevent complications such as heart failure or irregular heartbeat. Common symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain, or swelling in the legs and ankles—signs that should never be ignored.

Our goal is to help patients understand the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for heart valve disease through education and expert care. Whether through regular monitoring, medication, or advanced interventions such as valve repair or replacement, our team is dedicated to guiding you toward the best possible outcomes. At Arizona Heart & Vascular Clinic, we’re committed to providing the knowledge and care you need to maintain a strong, healthy heart.
