Dr. Andrew Kaplan is a nationally recognized cardiac electrophysiologist with more than 25 years of experience devoted exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. He brings deep expertise in advanced electrophysiology, heart failure management, and the evolving intersection of electrophysiology with innovative outpatient and ambulatory care delivery models.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kaplan has maintained an extensive background in clinical research, serving as a lead investigator and enrolling patients in both national and international studies. He has longstanding relationships with the medical device industry and has played a key role in helping emerging technologies gain clinical traction following FDA approval. His understanding of healthcare economics further strengthens his ability to deliver high-quality, cost-conscious care while driving innovation.
Dr. Kaplan is particularly committed to expanding access to high-quality cardiovascular care for underserved and marginalized populations. His leadership extends beyond civilian practice through his service as a reservist medical corps officer in the United States Navy, where he acts as both a leader and advocate for military healthcare.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kaplan holds a faculty appointment as a part-time Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, reflecting his ongoing dedication to education and mentorship.
